Done

Everything fell apart yesterday and it’s time to dump this blog and switch to survival only. Sorry if conversations have been left incomplete.

Been meaning to get to replying — keep falling asleep before I reach the end of my list. There is always email — or even finding and occupying an old, abandoned connectivist group

Thanks for this message Vanessa–it got me started again. Wish I knew why I’m so fond of my unstable personality. Causes a lot of trouble. Good idea occupying an old connectivist FB group. Remember we didn’t want to be addressed as Nodes in a net? I think and think about connecting with people I’ve never met and how it happens seemingly outside a theoretical framework or without a kind of sponsorship by scholars.

Maha seems to worry about her being a “newcomer” in a group of us veteran connectivists and I can’t explain in ways that makes sense. I end up sounding too mush-headed when I say that before a connection there isn’t (to me) an absence but after the connection there is presence that is unique. Nothing is “replaced”, substituted or shifted to make room, just more awareness.

Theory aside…did you ever get that golf cart to give you more mobility? Last year a neighbor girl, dressed as a princess was weeping over her rechargeable plastic Barbie scooter in front of our house. Cursing like a mule driver she was going at the poor thing with her magic wand without mercy. This seemed like such a True Tales from the Alberta West scenario I dared not mention I knew someone who wrangled mules from a golf cart just for sport.

PS instead of dumping it all together, you can just close access to it.
